Welcome to KeralaMatch. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and mobile application. By registering an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

 

1. Eligibility

 

By registering on KeralaMatch, you represent and warrant that:

  • Age: You are of legal marriageable age as per Indian Law (currently 18 years for females and 21 years for males).
  • Marital Status: You are currently single (unmarried, legally divorced, or widowed).
  • Intent: Your use of this platform is for the sole purpose of finding a life partner for marriage and not for casual dating or commercial exploitation.

 

2. Mandatory Verification Policy

 

To maintain a high-fidelity community, KeralaMatch enforces a strict verification protocol:

  • Identity Documents: You agree to provide a valid Aadhaar or Passport for identity verification.
  • Authentication: You must verify your mobile number via OTP and are encouraged to use Google Social Login for added security.
  • Accuracy: Providing fraudulent documents or impersonating another person is a material breach of these terms and may be reported to the relevant legal authorities.

 

3. User Account and Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • KeralaMatch reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that remain unverified or show suspicious activity.

 

4. User Conduct & Content Policy

 

As a member, you agree NOT to:

  • Post defamatory, obscene, or offensive content.
  • Harass, stalk, or abuse any other member.
  • Use the contact information of other members for any purpose other than matchmaking.
  • Distribute "spam," "chain letters," or "junk mail."
  • Copy, screenshot, or distribute photos of other members without their explicit permission.

 

5. Privacy & Data Handling

 

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please note that while we verify the identity of a user through Government IDs, we do not guarantee the character or socio-economic claims made by the user in their bio.

 

6. Role of KeralaMatch (Disclaimer)

 

  • Facilitator Only: KeralaMatch is a platform for matrimonial advertising and search. We are not a broker and do not guarantee a successful match.
  • Background Checks: We strongly advise all users and their families to conduct independent background checks (home visits, employment verification, etc.) before finalizing a proposal. We are not liable for any misrepresentations made by members.

 

7. Termination of Membership

 

We reserve the right to terminate your access if:

  • You violate any provision of these Terms.
  • We receive multiple complaints regarding your conduct.
  • Your Government ID verification fails to match your profile details.

 

8. Proprietary Rights

 

All design elements, logos, and software logic (including the UI/UX design based on Material 3.0 guidelines) are the intellectual property of KeralaMatch. Unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited.

 

9. Limitation of Liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KeralaMatch shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to physical or emotional distress, arising out of interactions with other members found through the platform.

 

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

 

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thrissur, Kerala, or the nearest legal jurisdiction as determined by the platform.
